Where do you work?

Google. Before that, Microsoft — as a Product Engineer working on Web, iOS and Android apps for products called Delve and Feed.

What is your tech stack?

Java, Swift, TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, Fluent UI

Would you ever come back to company X?

No. But I'm thankful to:
1) Booking.com for teaching me being customer-obsessed and properly evaluating impact
2) Spotify for showing me what good infrasture and developer experience is. Also, it's been a privilege to work at the heart of music industry

Programming in general

Favorite programming language?

C++, but I didn't use it much since 2010.

IDE of choice?

JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA. Some unpopular opinions are that it's not suitable for huge projects. But I have majority of language injections and inspections turned off and now see no difference compared to VSCode.

Side projects

Can you recommend a hosting for my side project?

I'm using AWS and Hetzner.de combo. I don't know any Hetzner alternative in US though. I'd probably be using AWS or Google Cloud there.

Where to get an idea for a side project?

Try to think about the problem you do have at the moment and solve it. Per example, create a website with ideas for side projects. :)
